Museum of Women in the Arts

I helped Matt M. with a wedding reception a few weeks ago at the Museum of Women in the Arts. It was my first time being there, and it was pretty impressive:

It was one of the more interesting receptions that I have done...they had a belly dancer (the bride is Egyptian)!

Here are a few kids:

Gunga galunga

We went on the annual family beach trip recently, it was Allison's (my niece) first beach experience. Took her a little while to get used to (wanted nothing to do with the ocean on the first day), but by the second or third day she loved it.

Funny, out of all the pics I took that week I think there might be 2 that are not of her.

Here she is doing her best Carl Spackler (Bill Murray's character from Caddyshack) impression:

Every time I look at this pic I can see her saying:
"So I jump ship in Hong Kong and make my way over to Tibet, and I get on as a looper at a course over in the Himalayas. A looper, you know, a caddy, a looper, a jock. So, I tell them I'm a pro jock, and who do you think they give me? The Dalai Lama, himself. Twelfth son of the Lama. The flowing robes, the grace, bald... striking. So, I'm on the first tee with him. I give him the driver. He hauls off and whacks one - big hitter, the Lama - long, into a ten-thousand foot crevasse, right at the base of this glacier. Do you know what the Lama says? Gunga galunga... gunga, gunga-galunga. So we finish the eighteenth and he's gonna stiff me. And I say, "Hey, Lama, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know." And he says, "Oh, uh, there won't be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness." So I got that goin' for me, which is nice."
Showing some serious concentration here:

D'OH!

In honor of the Simpson's movie (one of the greatest tv shows of all time...along with Seinfeld and Cheers), I have simpsonized Karin and I:

I was bored at work and looking at some photography sites (this is what I do when I'm bored during this really really bad time of year when no sports are on...sorry baseball). I came across The Blog is Found, which has some really cool pics...and the link to the simpsonizer. Anyway, you should check out the site, its pretty funny.
